What design is not

Design is not art!
Design is also not art making itself useful!

"Art produces originals, design series.
Art is there fir it own sake. Design is a contract-related service.
Design needs considerable objective. Art is subjective.
Design enters into intelligent compromises. Art excludes them.
Design is orientated towards the feasible. Art towards utopia.
Design must be comprehensible. Art does not have to be.
Design proceeds from established customs.
